At EduTravel, we are passionate about providing experiential learning opportunities for students. We are a team made up of creative individuals, past educators, and travel enthusiasts with a passion for experiential education, who understand the importance of engaging students outside of the classroom for real-world experiences and application.

We understand the SHSM components demand additional time, planning, and consideration, and we acknowledge the tremendous workload that teachers already have in their busy schedules. EduTravel is here to help with all of the careful scheduling to these programs as we put together all of the logistics so that you don’t have to!

Certfications

How Does It Work?

  • How much do the certifications cost?

    Each certification is $25 per student

  • How long do the certifications take to complete?

    A certification takes about 3 hours for students to complete. The work submitted for each activity will be saved to our online platform, meaning students are able to complete the certification in more than one sitting.

  • Are the certifications conducted in a synchronous or an asynchronous fashion?

    Our certifications are completed asynchronously. All of our certifications have an attached video series that serves as a virtual facilitator. This virtual facilitator walks students through the activities they must complete in order to obtain their certification.

  • How can teachers know if a student has completed their certification?

    EduTravel staff monitor the completion of all the assignments attached to their respective certification. If it is the teacher’s preference, we are also able to set up an admin account that would allow teachers to monitor students’ progress.

  • Do students receive a physical certification?

    Once a student completes all of their activities, a digital copy of their certification will be sent to their teacher. A copy can also be sent to the student if this is the teacher’s preference.
